Our client seeks a experienced Legal Content Automaton Engineer to be instrumental in building an automation team to drive the growth and success of a market-leading legal technology scale-up.

The business automates the creation of a wide range of legal documents with new precedents and documents constantly developed and automated in response to changing client demands.

The candidate will liaise closely with an external legal team responsible for writing precedents and be required to manage a remote team overseeing the automation of the precedents.

The role:

Manage a team who will drive content production through automated legal precedents delivered through a SaaS platform. The team has the following responsibilities:

• The delivery, timing, quality and relevance of content created by the external legal team
• QA of the delivered content and legal automation, ensuring it is current with the legislation
• Liaising with clients (legal professionals) of the platform and prioritise requests to create new precedents
• Provide ongoing feedback and suggestions to the product and technology teams to ensure the optimal user experience
• Provide ongoing lifecycle management and conduct legal research to understand the emerging content needs of Australian firms and how they operate

Candidate requirements:

• 4 years+ of legal drafting experience at a law firm
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experienced in managing and coaching junior personnel
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to prioritise
• Have a deep technology interest and are keen to learn and influence the product design process
