Business Analyst - Finance

Join our client as a Business Analyst with a focus on finance-related projects and project delivery. In this dynamic role, you’ll work alongside finance stakeholders, IT, and project teams to lead business analysis activities, support finance system upgrades, and drive business process improvements. You will play a key role in ensuring projects and system enhancements align with the business needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project-Based Systems Analysis: Lead the analysis, planning, and delivery of finance projects and system upgrades (e.g., billing, accounts payable, payroll).
  • Collaboration with Teams: Partner with finance, IT, and legal teams to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Document business and technical needs, collaborating with IT to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Technical Support & Operational Focus: Provide ongoing support, enhancing system upgrades to improve accuracy and engagement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Advocate for users, ensuring the needs of legal and finance teams are considered in system improvements.

About You:

  • Experience in a finance technology or project-focused BA role, ideally within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Strong skills in gathering and documenting technical requirements that meet business goals.
  • Comfortable collaborating with business and finance stakeholders to drive business improvement projects.
