Global Head of DevSecOps – Lead, Innovate, Secure

My client is looking for a Global Head of DevSecOps to lead a world-class team in transforming secure software delivery. This is an opportunity to shape DevSecOps strategy, drive cutting-edge automation, and work with top-tier global teams to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable software deployment.

What You'll Do

 Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute a global DevSecOps vision and roadmap.
  • Foster a security-first culture, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and security teams.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing DevSecOps team, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with executives, development leads, and stakeholders.

Automated CI/CD Pipelines

  • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, efficient, and scalable global software releases.
  • Optimize development pipelines for speed, security, and scalability.
  • Integrate tools for automated testing, security scanning, and deployment orchestration.

Security Integration & AI-Powered Innovation

  • Embed security best practices across every stage of development.
  • Implement AI-driven security tools (e.g., GitHub CoPilot, GHAS) to enhance automation and security.
  • Lead proactive security initiatives including SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability remediation.

Infrastructure & Cloud Security

  • Oversee secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes (EKS, Istio, Kong).
  • Manage observability and cost optimization for Datadog and GitHub across 300+ developers.
  • Implement disaster recovery (RTO & RPO) strategies to minimize downtime.

Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, training, and mentoring teams.

What You Bring

✔️ 10+ years in DevSecOps, Security, or Cloud Engineering (4+ years in leadership).
✔️ Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline automation, cloud security, and DevOps methodologies.
✔️ Strong background in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes (EKS, Istio, Kong) and containerized environments.
✔️ Deep knowledge of security automation, compliance standards, and threat mitigation.
✔️ Experience integrating AI-driven security solutions.
✔️ Passion for innovation, automation, and building security-first engineering cultures.

Essential Experience

Certifications: CISSP, CISM, AWS Security.
Familiarity with frontend frameworks, OO programming (C#, React, Vue.js, SQL).
Previous experience in legal tech or regulated industries.
