We are looking for a Channel Manager to join an exciting technology business on the Australian market to cultivate and maintain relationships among business partners while also developing strategies to increase revenue for their companies.  


In this role your main responsibility will be increasing company revenue by managing successful channel partner campaigns with partners’ prospects and/or customers. 


Responsibilities in the role

  • Developing and maintaining business relationships
  • Designing policies which allow partnerships to thrive 
  • Enforcing legally-binding contracts 
  • Developing and executing business plans for strategic growth
  • Conducting market research
  • Synthesizing reports of business metrics
  • Negotiating contracts with strategic partners
  • Attending meetings and representing the company
  • Work closely with partner management to grow the sales channel
  • Effectively communicating the company’s value proposition and the benefits of the product suite
  • Understand channel sales prospects' decision-making processes
  • Provide sales, marketing, forecast and competitive information to the company’s staff


The ideal candidate

  • Shows a successful channel sales track record and quota achievement
  • Highly motivated and able to function independently within their territory as well as within a cross-functional account team
  • Effectively manages relationships with customers and vendors to build the brand and the business
  • Able to plan and manage new projects
  • Can liaise with partners to solve issues
  • Has the analytical skills to report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strategic thinker with an ambient personality and a positive outlook
