Business Development Representative
Our client, a dynamic forward-thinking company is searching for a driven Business Development Representative to join their team in Cape Town, South Africa. This role plays a crucial part in expanding our client's presence in the market and driving growth. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with potential and current clients, and contributing to their overarching growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform market research to discover emerging markets and assess customer requirements within the Cape Town vicinity and beyond.
- Engage in outbound prospecting to establish contact with potential clients, utilizing a variety of communication methods
- Introduce our client's company to prospective clients through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, and other professional platforms.
- Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships by comprehensively understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions that align with our client's services.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to devise and execute effective strategies aimed at fostering business growth.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices, and client feedback, and regularly update management with insightful reports.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
