Sales Engineer
The Role
The Sales Engineer is a critical link between the commercial and technical sides of our business. You'll partner with Account Executives and Channel Partners to deliver compelling demos, shape technical solutions, and support enterprise sales cycles.
Responsibilities
Partner with Account Executives to understand client needs and craft tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
Deliver compelling technical presentations that articulate the value of our platform to both business and technical stakeholders.
Lead pre-sales discovery, including data architecture reviews and technical scoping.
Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
Serve as a trusted advisor during trials and evaluations.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to relay customer feedback and ensure smooth handoffs.
Maintain deep product expertise and stay current with Information Governance trends and compliance regulations.
Represent us at industry events and webinars as a technical subject matter expert.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally in enterprise SaaS, data governance, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Strong technical aptitude with experience in enterprise IT environments (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, file servers, cloud storage).
Familiarity with privacy frameworks and data discovery tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience managing POCs and pilot programs for enterprise clients.
Proficiency with scripting or query languages (e.g., PowerShell, SQL) is a plus.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
