Go to Market/ Growth Lead - Head of Marketing

Join a growing, global firm making legal technology, payments and client verification easier and law firms more productive and compliant! This firm are very established in the UK and now moving into APAC. With a remote first approach, this role is based in Sydney.
A seasoned marketer, you will be responsible for the local go to market / launch strategy and execution, positioning their presence in Australia, defining the customer segment, diving deep into competitor and pricing analysis, working on market and brand positioning. You will collaborate with the VP Sales/ local Sales team, COO, CFO, CEO and working closely with the local Fractional Product Marketing Lead during launch phase.
This is a start up environment so the successful candidate will need to work decisively and smartly, making astute and considered recommendations - you must be comfortable diving in with a hands on approach. Deep generalist marketing skills including experience in launching a solution new to market are essential. Local market knowledge in the legal tech space is required..
About the Role:
- A senior marketer and commercial operator, you will be building and executing a compelling go to market plan collaborating with the Product Marketer.
- You will work closely with local sales in launching and opening the market to legal firms, partners and associations.
- Focus will be on brand awareness, lead generation and building the ecosystem
- Step into sales / closing deals where needed.
- Work closely with C Suite and leadership based in the UK.
About You:
- You have a track record in a senior level marketing role at Head of / Director level
- You have strong go to market planning, execution skills in the legal market
- You are a senior commercial operator in legal technology with a strong understanding of legal technology and experience of building a new customer base in the legal market (mid market/ large law).
- Able to thrive in ambiguity and understand what is required to grow a market.
- Resourceful , hands on and self-sufficient, you enjoy and are capable of representing the brand credibly across partners, customers, and suppliers.
